1. Introduction

By scheduling a service or repair with Lincs Boiler Services, you agree to comply with, and be bound by, the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

2.1 Scope of Work: Our services include the servicing, maintenance, and repair of oil boilers. All work will be carried out by qualified and experienced technicians.

2.2 Service Appointments: Appointments will be scheduled based on availability. We strive to be punctual, but unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. We will notify you as soon as possible if delays occur.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 Access: You must provide our technicians with clear and safe access to the boiler and any associated equipment.

3.2 Information: You must inform our technicians of any known issues or previous work carried out on the boiler prior to the start of the service or repair.

4. Liability

4.1  Limitation of Liability: Lincs Boiler Services will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

4.2 Damage from Failing Parts: While our technicians will exercise due care during the servicing and repair of your oil boiler, Lincs Boiler Services is not responsible for any damage that occurs due to failing or defective parts. This includes, but is not limited to, leaks, bursts, or failures of components that were in a compromised state prior to or during our service.

4.3 Pre-existing Conditions: We are not liable for any issues arising from pre-existing conditions of the boiler or associated systems that were not apparent during the initial inspection.

5. Payment and Charges

5.1 Payment Due: Payment for our services is due upon completion of the service or repair unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5.2 Extra Charges: If the boiler is in a bad state of repair or is excessively sooty, additional time may be required for cleaning. This will incur an extra charge, which will be communicated and agreed upon before the additional work is undertaken.

5.3 Late Payments: Late payments will incur a admin fee of £25 and an interest at a rate of 5% of the outstanding balance per month until the balance is paid in full.

6. Warranty and Guarantees

6.1 Service Guarantee: We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of service. This guarantee covers only the specific work carried out and does not extend to any unrelated faults or failures.

6.2 Parts Warranty: Any new parts provided by Lincs Boiler Services will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. We do not offer additional warranties on parts.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

7.1 Customer Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee.

7.2 Company Cancellations: Lincs Boiler Services reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
